Not sure if it’s anything decent for folks but my son just got 12 month sim for £10 per month with 30GB a month and obviously unlimited calls and texts.

As O2 have inclusive roaming with 25GB monthly limit it is ideal for some.

He said there were higher limit deals but as the roaming limit is 25GB that’s what he settled for.

I've had this deal for a while BikerGraham, generally good reception coverage with O2 and its been great for tethering our devices when away.

Think it is also a cheaper way to get an extra 25GB when roaming,

Just took a look and for 30gb it was £15 and 24 mth contract. Does he have a link please

In France recently if anyone is going try the Reglo 150gb for 25 euro per month no contract. We got it from recomended on Facebook. Got it at LeClerk all paid and sorted and up and running next day. Great. However could not get registered online to renew the next month and had to find a Leclerk in the next area we were in to get another one and despite the customer service desk assuring us it was ready to use , we could not get online. The Reglo customer service is great if you can speak French otherwise dont bother, so this offer of O2,s sounds the easy option.

Yep that was what I found also. But he said on a Google search there was an ad that came up and on following that it took direct to o2 site the the £10 12 month deal.

Think it’s through the Money supermarket site

If you are a virgin media customer you should get double data via 'volt' as well. This won't increase your roaming allowance over 25gig but will double up your data in the UK

Cheers for this. I since found 40GB for £11.00 with o2 via money supermarket on a 12mth deal.

Who sets the fees for roaming charges and why so low on GBs when you can get unlimited in the UK on some good deals. Are the EU lot still running our lives as in the 90 day rule or is it rip off Britain again.

The EU countries' providers set the rates now which the UK providers have to pay, when we were in the EU we benefitted from the same rates but now don't, nothing to do with rip-off-Britain.

I wonder why the UK providers don't set the rates for the EU countries? I can use100gb a month in a lot of countries including the UK with my Orange France contract...

The bind with O2 if you are travelling for a long period in EU is the 63 days in a 4 month period rule.

I was away in France and Spain for 76 days using a Tesco sim which is on O2, earlier this year, no issues, no throttling and no fair usage warnings, I think as long as you use it more in the UK then in the EU they are not so hot on the rules.

O2 are just introductioning it and Tesco will follow on. Not sure about existing contracts, but Three have just ended Mrs B's contract as it was not favourable to them. New terms in EU.

Tesco's roaming fair usage rules were two months in every four and you could use your whole allowance whilst roaming, I changed from the unlimited data rolling 30 day contract to an unlimited two year contract after I returned from my trip saving myself some money monthly and luckily just before they changed the rules so I'm okay for the next 18 months at least and I'm a fairly heavy data user at over 350gb a month. Interestingly I was getting better speeds in Europe then I do here but still good enough here for streaming.
