Hi guys,
Burstner Solano 685G Fiat Ducato MK3 08

I currently have a OS sidelight bulb out-

Changed bulb nothing

Have checked power to bulb and nothing

If I shunt power across from the running light next to it the bulb works but the error on the dash stays.

I’ve disconnected power from cab and hab batteries given it half hour and it still comes up on dash as an error.

Does anyone know where the power for sidelights starts in the cab area? No fuses for sidelights that I can see.

Cheers for any advice

check that the new bulb is the correct wattage, I had the same problem and checked the bulb it was the wrong wattage, put the correct bulb in it was then ok.
As far as I am aware there is no fuse for sidelight its all controlled by the canbus system.

Checked and they are identical, even swapped right to left and both bulbs work just not on OSR

All bulbs work apart from OSR which has a working bulb in but no power to it,checked continuity as far forward as I can but can’t find loom once it comes in behind electroblock.

Think it’s goimg to be a trip to the dealers :(

So after a trip to Elite Banbury yesterday the guys have sorted it (y) the wire loom underneath had been bent round the chassis on original fit and had worn through the sheath and earthed out.

Elite did it under my extended warranty and have been as always a pleasure to deal with.:D
