Unfortunately the brakes locked on just as i was going through a small town and the van was partially blocking the road, the breakdown truck turned up after about an hour, they couldn't get a spectacle lift under the back wheels because of the levelling jacks so they tried to free off the brakes so it could be towed from the front but it took them hours, eventually we had two tow trucks, and two Gendarmes directing traffic and eventually i was towed to a Mercedes garage where the van now sits until they can look at it, the break down insurance have put me up in a hotel for the time being so i hope Merc can fix it sooner rather then later, initial cause was a leaking air hose but the brake actuator was damaged whilst they were trying to free off the brakes so may need one of those as well.
