Bit of an odd one here looking for someone who has a property in northern France were I can pick up a pet passport on the way to Eurotunnel. I am now in Santa Pola and leaving now. My wife was supposed to fly back to Alicante today but flights have been cancelled we had left the pet passport at home by mistake but my wife had to go home for a hospital and now all this caose has started. Hopefully somewhere between borduex or reuon would be ideal as then I need to go to vets. Any other ideas would be welcomed. Thanks in advance

You really need the original ,posted if need be. The new one presents all sorts of problems not least the rabies would have to be done 3 weeks before you enter the UK I believe ?

The passport is all up to date just left it at home. Came through Newhaven and they weren’t worried but obviously need it to get back to uk

Can't think of anything to help but I do hope you get it sorted out. Please keep us informed and good luck.
Steph

Ring your ferry or Eurotunnel operator and collect it there? I'm sure they would help

We are travelling to our static in Challans near Nantes, we leave home tuesday evening if that helps? Have it sent to our house and we can bring it over. We will be travelling through Rouen on wednesday

Just wondering if you can have your pet passport posted to a vet nearer Calais? We have used a vet in Rue in many occasions, who speak good English. Rue is in Somme, near Le Crotoy, their address is Street Veterinary Clinic, 34 Route de Crotoy, 80120. Tel. 03 22 25 00 63.
Im sure if you ring them and explain what has happened, they will help. They are open till 1730 today and open again Monday.
Le Crotoy aire is about 10 minutes away and about 70 miles from Calais.

Also vet at Buchy in Normandy very friendly and speaks good English. I'm sure they could help.

Many thanks to everyone all sorted now. Went down the Allen’s route and advise passport is now in the post to the vets all I’ve got to do is get there ?in Huesca at the mo. Heard a rumour they are shutting the French/Spain border on Monday

Just a thanks for suggesting the vet in Buchy. We booked a visit and although we were 24hrs early they kindly rescheduled our appointment. Very pleasant and very friendly.

That's great. We went in the afternoon before our scheduled appointment and they saw us straight away too.
