Rally Norden Farm Campsite Meet 7-14 May 2026, Corfe Castle, Dorset (bus stop to Wareham, Poole, Swanage & Bournemouth)

I am not fit and have cancelled. The campsite kindly allowed me to keep the booking costs for all this year so will go when I am fitter
Sorry to hear that Catherine but good that the Campsite is showing such goodwill in this instance - sending you our best wishes for a speedy recovery & hope to see you both another time.

Nice new badge for my collection. ::bigsmile:

I’m sure the bus pass is a really good idea. I know the last time we were at Norden Farm Nick had his pass and I didn’t . It was before the capped fares and I was shocked. Much dearer than around Topsham. Not sure if the capped fares are still a thing?

Such a lovely area.

Been very lucky with the weather, Nice campsite first time here, showers very hot and great water pressure, nice walks around Corfe Castle.
Had nice Fish & Chips in Poole.
Been very relaxing.
Very impressed with the zoom on my phone.

Great photos and yes, a very impressive zoom on your phone - if the land rover had been head on you would've been able to read the number plate! What phone is it?

We went to this meet two years ago and had the most amazing fish and chips on the seafront at Swanage, £9.99 pensioners special on a Friday, fish and chips, peas, a slice of bread and butter, a cup of tea or coffee and a tub of ice cream (one of the expensive ones) excellent value. Not sure if they are still doing it.

We had that deal two years ago but when we went back last year they had cut back on the offer. It was still a good price but you didn't get the bread & butter or the ice cream.

Glad to see that the weather is good for you all.

Hello,

I’m not sure exactly where to post this, but here it is anyway.

As some of you know, I had to leave this wonderful meet early today and head for home. Needless to say, I’m so disappointed that this is the case, however, needs must, unfortunately.

I was asked by a few of you to let you know that I reached my first destination OK - and, yes, I have, thanks. It was an easy and uneventful drive, thankfully, and two much shorter journeys will see me comfortably home by Wednesday.

A big thank you to Karen and Allan for arranging this meet, but also for their concern regarding my situation. Very much appreciated.

I also need to mention Billy (and Bella, of course) and Richard and Louise, all of whom also kindly showed their concern and offered help in numerous ways. Lovely people, and it was a great pleasure to meet you for the first time. I sincerely hope we catch up again at some point - especially if Billy has more of yon really guid haggis. 😉 👍

I’m very grateful to all of you.

Sincere thanks.

Ian.

I’m not sure we got to say a proper hello, sorry to say. However wishing you a safe journey home.
Take care.

Still capped at £3 per journey but with changes it soon adds up so we bought the 7 day Morebus pass & are making the most of it! With next year's meet being in June there will be even more regular buses & some also going to Lulworth Cove & Weymouth so should be worth it again then :)

Sales pitch - for those of you not going on tour of Europe there is room at Woodside Field, South Gloucester, July 9 - 14. Note no EHU or toilet block, it has
water and black and grey disposal. Fun packed agenda with a marquee to keep the sun off. Have look on the rally calendar for more details or ask me Clive.

We’re planning on coming if you run it again and I got my bus pass last year, bonus.

Just back from the Tank Museum. It was great, a lot to see and plenty of oral history stories from veterans.
Who knew that there were so many different variations and seeing the thickness of the steel on the cut through Challenger was an eye opener .
Thoroughly recommended for a chilly day, all inside.

Thank you for a wonderful meet, nice to see old friends and to meet new ones. A big shout out to Karen and Alan for organising the week. Have a safe trip home everyone. Looking forward to seeing you all in the future, Mick and Barbara.

Glad you enjoyed it - hope to see you both again another time.

Sadly had to leave today Phil was in need of a long hot soak. Yeovil was a breeze if you had trouble on way down, feeling a quick trip home was quashed by several teams clearing drain holes and then a 1/2 hour total stop on the M5 in both directions. No clue what that was about.
Thanks Karen and Alan for yet another great time. And for a great quiz, even if a little cold.

Hope Phil feels better soon. Turned into a nice day until just now and too hot again in the sun !

M5 was a Police incident guess a foot chase made them shut the motorway? Yes she is better thank you, tucked up in bed now, time for me to catch up with the football.

We are thinking of returning to Corfe for the Flying Scotsman event here for 10 days to celebrate 50 years of Swanage Railway. Last week in October.
Norden Farm website has October greyed out so I asked at reception. They are taking bookings for October but only by phone.

Well setting off home today. We have to face the airbag ECU issue which reared it’s ugly head again on leaving home. Was on EHU at home and had been using it so I don’t think low battery and we do the ignition on, leave it all to settle before starting.
Light came on and beeping halfway down the road. Last time just the seatbelt warning light in yellow, this time the airbag light in red.
Wasn’t going to let it stop us though.
Thinking of ordering a new one from Coastal motors.

Anyway, many thanks to Karen and Allen as ever, this is a lovely place here.
Nice to meet old friends and new,
Annie
