Amazon have a black Friday sale 1 year's subscription for £24, is that good value? will it work on a firestick for TV in Spain?

Do you want to stream UK tv or want security?

our Uk sim streams all Uk channels in France and Spain ,as it thinks we are in the Uk.

Have you got a Revolut account? Nord is Free to it's Premium account holders...
I don't take up on this offer as I prefer Surfshark...

I've used Nord for about 4 or 5 years and have found it excellent all around the the world, it's the same firm as Surfshark and they are both normally rated in the top 2 or 3 in quality reviews.
£24 pound is cheap, if you can get a 2 year subscription at that price or similar then do it.

Both Nord and Surfshark also get generous cashback (50-60%) via Quidco.

If it's only for one device, the free version of Proton is excellent.
I previously bought Surfshark but it just buffers. Proton works perfectly.

We are going for 3 months, so our UK SIM providers will cut us off after 60 days. Then we will use Spanish Sims and need the VPN

We've not been abroad in the winter before, in the summer we tend to sit outside and not watch much TV, but in the winter we will be inside earlier so likely watch a bit more telly.
I'm about to order the Nord VPN and a 4k firestick as the ones we use here are older slower ones and may struggle with the VPN. I'm not getting a mifi as the site (first month) has WiFi and I hope we may be able to use that. 🤞

I’ve been using this one for a while now with no issues,…

May have a Black Friday or Beige Friday (they have a sense of humour) offer to suit…
I tried Windscribe in Spain (as a backup) and watched UK TV from the camp WiFi without problems. I get 10GB free each month just for signing up and giving them my email address. The Beige Friday deal of $29 a year looks good.

Nord vpn will currently work with skygo but doesn't seem to work with BBC iplayer any more. Have the BBC finally found a way to beat the vpn providers.

I tried the free version of Proton a couple of years ago but it didn't allow use of iPlayer but it might now as they keep improving. We upgraded to the Duo package to get the full secure email etc. as well and are happy with it.

Worked fine for us 6 weeks in spain

Tablet or PC/ laptop?
Yes...

Desktop PC, Samsung tablet, Asus Chromebook & Samsung phone.

TBF, the iPlayer will very occasionally throw a wobbly, but I simply choose a different NordVPN server and refresh.

Never had a problem with Nord, works for me

I cant get Nord to work with BBC Iplayer ,, they definitely can block it very easily ,,,, but i can get Iplayer OK on Windscribe

We always use the Manchester server on firestick and it works fine.

We have been using CyberGhost for quite a few years with upto 7 devices connected.
Their servers are specifically labelled for which service you are using in various countries or just countries. Also has a favourites list (y)

The subscription is currently $49 a year.

Tried Manchester server. All it says is download failed. Doesn't even challenge the location. Maybe it just doesn't like the combination of moviestar WiFi and nord. Itv x and sky work fine

We have movistar sim via Tiekom . Are you trying to install it or run it?

Stop press. I ran Nord on my mobile phone and then shared it's hotspot with the tablet also running Nord and hey presto it worked.🤔

It's not a sim. It's broadband WiFi in an apartment
Ok maybe need to do something on the router, mines just on a firestick
