Non Motorhome battery charging question (1 Viewer)

Hi All. I know there are some electrical gurus on here so a quick question from an electrical wally LOL. I just bought some new batteries for my Dewalt drill 10.8v 2ah. The old batteries were 1.5 ah, The charger states output at 1.8ah. Am I right in thinking that the 2ah batteries will never receive a full charge regardless of how long left charging?

Yes they will....but it will take a bit longer.
