Hi all.
Just wondering if anyone knows if Niesmann are going to be changing their appearance anytime in the near future I only ask because the current external looks have been around for a bit now and we are about to order a new van would hate to get the old design if a new look is on its way in the not to distant future. If we order now we won’t see it till the end of the year:(:(:(
Thanks

Now thats a good question (y) you are right they have been around for a while, Flair or Arto? sorry just being nosey;)

Arto would like a Flair but can’t get it on the drive and we prefer to stay on small sites or even in a field Flairs a bit big for some of the places we go. Looking at your picture that’s the was we would go if I wanted that size, first saw a Morelo in Germany and loved it.

I think the Arto was the first major redesign in 2014, with the Flair in 2015. I had one of the first new Flairs in 2015. So you maybe right, that said they have had some minor changes since then, kitchen layout, electrical packages, new models and colours of course. If you were thinking of a new one your best course would be to visit Polch and maybe talk to German dealers too as they tend to be more up on the case than our UK "one" and have some serious slots for 2022.
Here for example

I think there is an element of "if it aint broke don't fix it" at Niesmann, the product still look modern and sells well so they have been using their R+D time developing the iSmove but of course that has been out a year now so what have they been tinkering with  , I wonder if some of those features and style from the iSmove will move up the Arto when the time comes.

We had an older Flair for 8 years and loved it, but for us the newer ones had lost their way slightly and didn't offer what we were looking for, obviously the Palace did but at a cost and not only £ but also the size and agility that you want.

A bit of bias here but on my 3rd n&b in 15 years and definitely think the older ones are better. The smove is crap, the 3 litre was easily the best engine ever put in an arto but you now have to have the 2.3 and the current generation flair kitchen is hopeless.

I used to camp in a mini cooper with Rover 2000 seats in the front, fully reclined they made a great bed, great fun at the time but I think we have moved on, tents were only ever for keeping the tandem in when slept in the back of the old Merc estate ;)

used to get three in a pup tent sometimes six at a push had a cooper aswell but long after the pup tent ans cupla bedford cf bandwagons

I agree totally with Jon good our old 2008 Arto with a 3.0 was fantastic build quality and loads of power and to torque. We were looking about 4 years ago but didn’t like the the Art, so we bought a CarThiago that was a mistake I have never really liked it and I don’t think the quality is there. After looking at the current Arto they seem nice again only a little bling and more effort put in to the build.

If anyone is considering a N&B then check that anything you see in the brochure/catalogue is actually being built.

I was enquiring about island bed models and in particular the 78F which was still in the online brochure but Jurgen Barth said they are only building the 88F which is longer than we want.

Anyway the Polish tax on registration at 18.6% kills off the idea of a new MH. On a new Arto with extras, so say €175,000 the tax would be €32.5K - the government is not having that much off me, after 19% VAT.
