Bursner Nexxo 660
I wonder if this is a problem anyone else has had? Our Nexxo has a really useful pullout cupboard under the sink. It has two runners, one underneath the unit and one on the side - it’s this one which has broken. The slider is shedding ball bearing units and the whole cupboard is now hanging at an angle and won’t shut completely. Hence it flies open when going round left hand bends!! Can it be replaced? Can‘t get the whole unit out because it hits the units on the other side before coming off the rails. Looks like it was literally built in.
Anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it?
Thanks for any help

Sounds like the drawer runner has lost its bearings , screwfix do runners , you may be able to get a match

Good idea Vanderek, thanks. I’ll take a look online.
trouble is, even if I can source new runners I can’t seem to get the unit out to fit new ones. No room to pull it all way out! How did they get it in even?

Post some photos. I used to fit kitchens, I can make suggestions once I know what your working with.

:welco:
They will be standard kitchen draw runners but they will be of German origin.
My last Hymer I had to replace a draw runner (forgot to check draw was locked and it flew out on a rough road). Took some searching but I found the exact runner for it.
Your unit will come out may need a steep tilt to get it out or if the fridge is opposite may need the fridge door open or removed.

Thanks Lenny, that’s really encouraging info.
Here are some pictures as requested. At present this is max pullout before it jams. Can force it further but takes ages to get back.

You have to release the runners to seperate the two parts not sure on that runner but looks like with it fully extended you have to press that black plastic tab.

Look like standard kitchen runners, either look on line or a kitchen *refit* company could help Press the tabs to release

i have a t660 just has a door with 2 hinges to open, no problem

My apologies to the forum members who offered useful tips.

I wrote a long "thank you" but it's vanished! Must have not saved it or was it deleted because I criticised Bursner design?....

Anyway - I fixed this problem using your various advice - new runners bought, sliding unit removed (tabs then collapse the telescopic runners in to release the unit - new ones fitted and after much fiddling to get the unit square in the space, jobs a good 'un.

Thanks everyone

Graham
