Been many times to this site. Very well kept and close to the beach. A short walk to Seahouses along the beach. Two good pubs for food, drinks in the village. I prefer the Tower. I would recommend booking if you want to eat at either of them. We usually stay two nights and book one of the pubs for each night. There used to be a hut on site that did great breakfasts and food in the evenings. He wasn’t there the last two years but hopefully will be back this year.I have booked to go to Beadnell bay CCC site for the jubilee four day weekend. Also booked a boat trip to Staple Island so i can get some photos of sea birds and seals. Anyone been to the site before whats it like
Not everyone is a globetrotter or seasoned forigner. When i left the valleys in the 70s most people had never been more than 10 miles from home other than to Cardiff airport and then to spain for fish n chips and watneys red barrel. When I read the thread title 'Next big trip booked' I was looking forward to something about Nordkapp, Morocco, Turkey, so I was a bit underwhelmed.
And some people have to work. And it is a big trip for me as I am ticking things off my to do list.Me too, 4 days, not worth getting the van out of the drive.
We are off next I wouldn't call it a big trip only 6½ weeks.

Hmmm, 7 working days to go before retirement( at 53 ) then a few days after that our wedding, and a few days after that empty the house ( stuff in storage ) and off we go, off to sunnier climes, I think we will get used to it eventuallyMe too, 4 days, not worth getting the van out of the drive.

Thanks for your patronising comment. I will bear it in mind that ppl don't consider everyone sees things differently
But ok to demean mine. To me it is a big trip for many reasonsI was not being patronising to you personally, but just wanted to put 'big trip' in context with people who have done some really adventurous trips so as not to demean their efforts.

That's a nasty four lettered word you used. And some people have to work. And it is a big trip for me as I am ticking things off my to do list.
Indeed but I don't have the advantage of spending time off work or multiple week toursThat's a nasty four lettered word you used.
You used it again.Indeed but I don't have the advantage of spending time off work or multiple week tours
I need a big slap lolYou used it again.
I’m pretty sure the likes of Ranulph Fiennes and his like think your, and my trips pretty pathetic. I doubt very much they would comment as such though.I was not being patronising to you personally, but just wanted to put 'big trip' in context with people who have done some really adventurous trips so as not to demean their efforts.
