hymer swing
We have a hymer swing and it has an automatic changeover gas regulator fixed in the van. Connected butane bottle but can’t seem to get gas to cooker or boiler. Should I have bought propane gas? If butane ok can anyone help with suggestions

Somewhere there will be a manifold with valves going to each piece of equipment I.e. gas fire, boiler, cooker, fridge etc are all the valves open ?
Worth checking.

Checked that and all are on. Just wondering if it’s a pressure problem between butane and propane. 😬

Could be the regulator clogged up, a known problem. Don't know if there is a fix most advice on here is change it

I’d check the crash sensor near the regular (if you have one)
Looks like a small green button
Press it in with a key

Butane does not gas below a few degrees c. Propane is better, but assuming temperatures are a bit higher both should work.

Faulty regulator?
Crash button?
Faulty changeover switch? Can you bypass this to see if gas gets through?
Faulty operator?🤭

Operator could be problem 🥴 welding bumper at the minute. Great little tool he’s using

A picture of your gas locker and setup would help with responses.
