Hi,
I would like to ask, if you have crockery-what does everyone use to stop it from rattling around when in transit...?
Many thanks for your time

We use some of that "lacey" rubber non slip matting from The Range, comes in a roll and different colours.

Hi Katey...Welcome

As mentioned above...Tissues or Kitchen rolls. For some of the heavier stuff...Extra tea towels. The cheap sort from Dunelm . They can always be used for anything afterwards

Ok, so I’m going to make some fleecy pouches ‍♀️!
My next question...!!
Is there one place “your go-to” to get bits and bobs or is it just a case of shopping around...?
I’m thinking of plate racks, cutlery, crockery, bedding..(I know dunelms/Tesco’s) but wondered if there was something more tailored for campervans/caravans...? ‍♀️

Hi Kate. Go light weight for crockery stuff. The kind you get from Camping accessory shops. You may get them cheap enough on line through E bay etc. We have used Dunelm for some things but mainly gone to accessory shops for ideas and then used the internet to get them cheaper!

Carolyn.....Kevs missus! lol

For the widest selection of extras, it is often worthwhile visiting a Motorhome show like Peterborough where literally hundreds of stalls selling everything conceivable can be found. Motorhome Fun will be there too, so you could get to meet other members and get a free cuppa too from the 'Fun stand.
The Peterborough show is in a couple of weeks time.

Enamel Plates and bowls and they don't rattle. You can also put them in the oven and they don't scratch even with knifes. If you have that many rattles try letting the tyres down a bit. Main Dealers always like to pump them up nice and hard.

We use Corelle plates, claimed to be indestructable. We got ours at one of the shows, think it might have been world kitchen. I think Argos do a version.
Well placed tea towels stops most rattles.
