New Van

Went to NEC show not looking for a new van.........................

anyone got the full or part alko air suspension kit? never had an a class a bit nervous of overtaking lorries!
got rear air assist on a large overcab and made a big improvement.

any comments/experiences gratefully received.

Not sure how large your A class will be, but we have a 7.5m Hymer on an Alko maxi chassis without any air assistance and have no problems overtaking lorries

Same here no air, 8.5m tag no problem overtaking trucks.

We have just imported our new Hymer with full air on Al-ko chassis 4500kg and it drives really well very comfortable ride and even makes the M25 concrete road sections a bit better to travel on.

speve thanks my car is on air suspension and kind of looking for same feel from van, the standard is an alko light chassis i presume you have the heavy version do you know if they upgrade brakes etc for the extra weight? cant speak to alko can only email them!

I fitted 8" Dunlop air assist to the rear of my Merc chassis and it improved the feeling of being sucked out by overtaking coaches much better. Frankia Platin Plus 840. 8.6 Metres.

Never felt the need on my last van Geist Silver spirit on a 3.0 litre Ducato/Alko chassis with the wider track over the Merc.
