Weight Uprating and thumbs up for 'Van Weight Engineering'

Just thought it might be useful to report on my experience of weight uprating. I have a new Burstner 7.5m 3500KG motorhome with a large garage and am carrying a motor scooter and 2 bikes in addition to the usual stuff so as I have C1 entitlement on my license I thought I might aswell get it...

Just done my van via the thread above and Van weight engineering. All sorted within 2 days for £150, paperwork via email. New weight plate due in the post . My V5 was sent off 6 days ago so just awaiting that to come back.

Is your vehicle Fiat Alko heavy chassis? Have you had your paperwork back from DVLA yet?

Yes 3 ltr fiat with the Alko chassis.
Received all paperwork off VWE and the new weight plate.
Nothing off DVLA as yet so unable to stick on new weight plate until V5 arrives.
