New tablet and no internet with iboost

Just bought SHMBO a new Samsung Tab 6 lite, but I have a problem getting internet from my iBoost, it will connect straight away but says connected but no internet. I've tried other routers and it works fine, factory reset the tablet numerous times, so now I'm thinking there must be some conflict with the iBoost, is there any internal setting I can tweak to get the internet?

Try testing iBoost with a different tablet that has connected ok in the past to prove iBoost is functioning ok.

The iBoost generates a local secure hotspot, the password for which is printed on the underside of the internal router. Once connected, your device will likely remember the network and connect automatically when in range.

If a connection was not possible then no signal strength will be displayed. You may attempt to re-establish a
connection to the same network again by pressing DHCP Client at the bottom of the screen and then press
REFRESH.

Perhaps adjust the antenna slightly and ensure that the password that you entered on the WIRELESS page is correct (if applicable).

If a connection is not successful you can then repeat steps to attempt to establish a connection to a different network. Should you be on the fringe of the receptionarea the adjustment or positioning of the antenna will be key in trying to overcome this. Good luck
