New leisure batteries

Just had 2 new leisure batteries delivered from Battery megastore. They both are hankook batteri and are reading 12.3 on the multimeter. Does this seem right for 2 brand new batteries still in the box?

Well not to me,but then I’m no expert.
Were they advertised as fully charged?
I don’t think they will damaged by going down to 12.3. Probably been sitting around for a while.

You best bet would be to ask Battery Megastore.

12.3 is around 40% charge. I would charge them overnight on an external charger then stand for an hour to settle then check voltage 12.7 or higher is 100% charged
