Hi all.

Thanks to the many of you who have contributed to my various questions. We have just agreed a price on a 2012 N+B Arto. Very exciting!

It’s from a dealer so they are going to do a full habitation check, a full mechanical check, put It through an MOT and provide a 12 month warranty.

I think I’d like to get an independent mechanical inspection to make sure that possible long-term issues of structure or mechanics are checked for (I may be cynical but I wonder whether they would report these if the warranty only lasts 12 months).

I was going to use the AA but they only inspect motorhomes up to 3500 kg and ours id]s 5000kg. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Other than checking documentation, HPI, V5 et cetera is there anything else I should get checked over before I hand over my large cheque?

Thanks

Chris

Might help if you mention which area you live in, unless you are happy to travel a long distance for your inspection.
