Hi, does anyone know a company I can use ncb from a camper van to car?
I was able to continue my ncb from car to camper but it now seems to back to a car.

I got a quote from comfort and they asked what NCB I wanted to use.
It was only a trial to see what a particular van would cost though.

That's odd. Whenever I've changed insurer I've provided a letter from my current insurer as evidence of my years of no claims. The letter hasn't shown the class of vehicle and I've never been asked to which category of vehicle it applied. I can't see why it should be any different when insuring a different class of vehicle.
I don't think Comfort give a year to year 'totting up' no claims discount.

I’ll have a look at comfort, unfortunately safeguard wouldn’t quote for a car but I think they are owned by Swinton

Well no luck up to now , no one is accepting my ncb!!!!!

Are you trying to claim it on both the camper and the car as no-one will do that. However, some will give a small reduction if you have a long claim free period. NFU will give the discount off the highest premium value if you put both vehicles on the same policy and then give smaller bonus on the lower amount. I don't know if other companies work the same way.

NFU mutual came to the rescue, £65 more but accepted my NCB and inc lots of extras. So after talking to a human being got a good deal.

Give Howden Insurance a call (previously A-Plan). They are very good at getting NCB discounts applied when it’s more complicated than usual.

I was insured with Comfort for about 14 years, Comfort don't have NCB it's a net a policy. I changed to NFU this year they didn't even ask about NCB price was £300 cheaper than Comfort.

Yes eventually I went with NFU. Very nice man gave good clear quotes including being able to use my ncb. A little more than being quoted with online comparisons sites but they included lots of extras.
I’d happily recommend them. 👍🏻
