N&B Open weekend Polch, Germany

Morelo used to use Turkey for the GRP parts but I think they come from Germany now, the front of our Flair 2006 was good.
I have a hunch that the composite cowls come from East europe as they all have a slavic sounding name on them.

Defo they are bonding the windscreens to the cowls in the factory, they had the jigs set out on the factory floor.

I might do the tour again today as it was so interesting.

Yes this was in 2011 so could have changed, Jurgen said they had been doing this for 10 years so I presume your 2006 Flair was a Turkey one.

You see something different every time (y) we have been round N+B at least 3 times. Phoenix once, Concorde once, Morelo 3 I think and VarioMobil once ;) yes I like factories as well.

The name that the cowls have on the inside is Lestney

Do you get the same number of points for all of them or is it like 4 points for a Variomobil tour and only one for N&B? :giggle:

I think you are like me as N&B are the minimum standard I would accept and upwards from there - only mine is likely to be the S/H market.

Geoff

P.S. We are still not home yet - currently parked at a good restaurant at Islop, Austria on a day off in bright sunshine, with second dinner this evening.

On the customer service side I would give 5***** after 20 years they have been nothing but amazing we had a cracked windscreen and it was done next day ,£1000 cheaper than in the UK and my side stickers had faded on the off side due to been park in our yard at home ,they had them in stock and fitted them by 2 30 in the afternoon, then we had a water leak on our Alde heating they said get here by 3 30 when we close well have you on your way .and they did exelent service.

Definitely 4 for Vario, Volkner could be a 5 I feel but never been, N+B and Morelo both good tours and very similar production techniques, the last Morelo tour was the best actually (think you missed it).

This was the parking in 2015,

Yes massive changes, the field at the bottom left is now a huge logistics warehouse we were parked in the office carpark which is effectively just at the edge of your photo. The fields in the top left is now an industrial estate.

What is really funny is that the silver MH that is bottom centre was there this but was parked on the corner just outside the factory.

I wouldn't be surprised if the yellow one top right was there as well as he is usually there a couple of weeks before.
