my van has just done 20k inna year

i converted a LDV van last year and sold it on ebay and the new owner tel me yesterday to say he has just completed a year travelling all the way down to Lisbon in it and back, so all the glassfibre fixing held up !

That’s a lot if miles put in on one year. He’s making sure he gets his money’s worth by using it and quite rightly so.

20K in an LDV must be some kind of endurance record, we had one for a business 20 years ago, fair dos it would go up hills as fast as it went down them........50! By it was noisy doing it and that was the turbo charged one.

Incidentally I saw brand new versions of the later model in NZ, I think one of the asian firms bought the tooling and is still producing them.
