My neighbour called me about what appeared on his TV screen

Not Motorhome related or could it be?
My 11 year old Grandaughter decided to put a Happy birthday message on my Home TV for my Daughter in Law and also put her name on the message, al using my Grandaughters Laptop ,my neighbour called over the fence and said my Grandaughters name appeared on his TV, !!!! and it asked whether He Accept or decline .
My question is " Is it down to Bluetooth ? could it happen in your Motorhome when parked near some else , as I'M not that good at Computers ( had my son put advert Picture on here !! ) Can Jim or someone give me a not too technical answer please.

You can cast - show content from a mobile device to a device that is receptive to the signal, hence the request to accept or not, when I taught apprentices we had upgraded all the rooms with 80" smart TV's and we could go in with our laptop and show it on the TV, mobiles can do it as well, I can show my phone on our smart TV's here at home, almost like blue tooth you have to pair the device.
