I am winning, I have two new Ikea units & loads of inserts.:)
The photo is the large unit, there is now another unit on top of it now that is the same width & half the height.....it's a good job I am tall.
I also have two desks sitting back-to-back & side on to the window.
I have been happily putting things in the unit, I keep finding things that I had forgotten & things that MrA doesn't know about.;)
I will take some more photo's as I progress, it is making me a happy bunny.:D

Very exciting.... what crafts do you enjoy?

I’m an on/off knitter, amongst other things, and at the moment i’m Into knitting socks. Because the circular needles are so tiny it makes it perfect for travel. :)

Looks good!

I have these in my craft room. I found that the IKEA fabric boxes fit perfectly in them too.

PONCTUEL ESCARGOT Interlocking Plastic Wardrobe Cabinet, Cube Storage Organizer with Translucent Curly Patterned Doors for Personal Items, Clothes, Shoes, Toys (20 cubes) Amazon product ASIN B07BCCLFJY

Please make sure you secure the units to the wall so they can't accidentally topple over ... with your username and other half's occupation it would be rather 'embarrassing' if you had to make a trip to A&E because you got squished by them! :D

Cards, crochet, felting, jewellery, soft toys among lots of other little things......I also want to try wire weaved jewellery & PMC jewellery--that's hand fired silver clay.

Well I am still moving things about, have to be happy about where they are AND I picked up another Kallax unit with the desk for £36 instead of £117, so a very happy bunny.
If I end up with more storage than I need I will have to fill it, can't waste it can I...:)
The photo is my very first attempt at wire wrapping, I don't have the correct wire yet, so

it wasn't ideal...….but for a first go i'm pleased with it.....oh it's a piece of sea glass.

Looks great, look forward to seeing your creations.

If there’s one thing I miss about four walls, it’s my craft room.

That's a shame, it really is, well if your ever over this way your welcome to have tinker in mine.
I made the roses as well and I have been experimenting with putting some designs onto the sea glass, the frosted surface seems to be pretty good for doing that, so cross fingers.

How soon will you be learning upholstery , when you can do it properly I'll bring my van down:D.
My good lady makes and sells scented candles in her early retirement , sweetest smelling van in the UK(y).

t believe in the "practice" word. Years ago my GP said to me , we hardly see you unless it's something you or Isabel (nurse) , can't solve . I says the Oxford English Dictionary definition of GP is a person who practices medicine , you're not practicing on me , so when you get it right I'll think about it. He is not only a good doctor but a good person and seen the funny side of it. Might put off a prostate exam for a wee while though:D.
Hope you're both well.
John

Spoilt sport...:D
I would say we are more on the wonky side than well, but we will do.
Hope you are both well.

All very nice and pretty, of course, but does not feature and hammers or spanners. :gum:

its amazing what can be squeezed into a craft room. Mine is a tiny box room but it has everything squeezed in. My Ikea pegboard and Kallax unit are the best features though.

Wow....that is amazing...I would say you have a lot more stash than I do.

too much stuff!!

i keep trying to thin it out bit but always end up needing what i got rid of. Im in the process of trying to persuade richard that we need an extension above the garage. Now that would make a great craft space. I keep telling him a happy wife is a happy life but he isnt listening yet. :ROFLMAO:

I must admit Robert is pretty good and I think he's happy seeing me get back into all again, it's been a difficult few years and has been hard getting back on an even keel for both of us.
A wonderful friend came over and helped me get started, it was the kick start I needed. I then ordered the two Kallax units, it's handy having high ceilings, it meant I could stack them. THEN I found another 2 by 4 Kallax with the desk for £36 2nd hand, it was only 16 miles up the road.....bargain....happy bunny.
I will be moving things about a bit before it's exactly how I want it, but i'm enjoying it already.(y)

A sea glass pendant with the chakra colours I have made for a friend of mine to say thank you for agreeing to help start a local spiritual circle...….we are both mediums and it's been something I have wanted to do for sometime.
