I would like to mount my new Firexo extinguisher in my Malibu van, on the plastic louvred cover behind the drivers seat base and adjacent to the woosh-bang door. I thought the cover just hinged down like the one at the front of the seat base. It appears that I'm wrong. Anyone know how to open/remove this panel?

Thanks...Keith

Two clips on top. Two locating prongs high up. Two hooks low down.

Some additional heat from a hair dryer is sometimes helpful. Ease the top tangs upwards whilst maintaining a gentle pulling pressure on the louvre. I found an old butter knife to be the ideal tool for lifting the top clips. Good luck.

I've heard of sex starved, but that's ridiculous!

Oops, sorry! Should have read the following post. 😩

Like most things it’s easy when you know how. Stick a flat blade where shown on either side in the photo and lift the little tag UP. The top then drops down and easy to unhook it at the bottom.

I was pushing down!

Apologies for the thread duplication. I never saw the connection between my post and last week's one with the same question.
