Finally recovered moho from lockdown storage yesterday. No damp no mice no leaks. Only problem pillows all mouldy so in bin
And the skylight fly nets are mouldy how do you clean them please. We were going to remove all bedding but couldn’t return to the van once locked down.

A bit worrying that the pillows have mould on them it must be damp for that to happen.
We always leave bedding in the van and never heat it when not in use never had mouldy bedding.

We leave takeaway trays of silica crystal cat litter in the Hab and garage parts of the MoHo, always smells fresh and no dampness or mould when we return to start more adventures.

Cheers!

Russ

Not had it before only the pillows mouldy and the flyscreens . All bedding dry mattresses ok so think it is a bacterial thing on the pillows. Had damp traps out not full or anymore full than previous van so not a damp issue imo.

We get that bacteria mould only happed las 2 years since putting a cover over I guess the air flow is restricted. Only on surfaces not bedding though.

On old van we could crack open the skylights for airflow dont seem able on this one. We got caught out with lockdown last time and didnt have time to carryout all measures. Still not sure how to clean flyscreens

Dont spray directly overhead and cover flooring.

Pillows are disgusting things really they soak up all the bacteria on your head/face, dribble etc so not surprising they were yuk!
Try using a hoover nozzle with brush attachment for the blinds, if they’re dry.

I've just wiped the bottom of my blinds with mould and mildew spray. Hoping that will sort it.

Today was not a good day for our straw hats I left in the van over winter, it would appear my sweaty head resulted in thick furry mould growing all over my hat and spread to my wifes two hats it was stacked on!

Lesson learned, new hats this year... never again.
