The broker should not affect the Underwriter's quote, unless they are tied, but then they should declare that and not pretend to be a 'broker' for the whole market.

I've just experienced Comfort Insurance first hand with claims. We had an accident near Valencia and our car, trailer and motorhome were damaged. Comfort were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. The AA recovery guy over there was so bad I sent him packing. Trailer and car collected and delivered to our home in the uk. The uk recovery from Slough to Durham took 2 weeks so very bad service. Motorhome was fine to drive but the towbar hadn't been fitted properly by carthago so suffered badly.

Just to clarify, a Spanish driver fell asleep and rammed us from the rear, not our fault.
