Hi all, been trying to look for old threads on this subject, hopefully can get some advice, any suggestions on which is a good make/ brand to use? Either a combined wash was or best used separately, Thank you in advance for any feedback ?

Have a look on the Motorhome Detailing section. Lots of discussion there.

Colonite 476 is ok but I like the starbrite polish with ptef

I will one day get around to polishing mine. My decals are really crap old and faded. I noticed that there is a post about removing them can’t find a set of the original ones so am thinking of going to a wrapper ( no not Music) and having my own design made and fitted to cover up the patches that will be left after removing the old ones. Any idea of the cost?

Hi all, thanks will give hubby, his list, ::bigsmile: , zebedee is covered over for the winter, in between fortnightly ( run around) want to wax, him, ready for next year's fun, appreciate the feedback

Vipar, someone had commented about costs of new decals, on the motorhome
detailing section(y)

I polish once a year with Mer and then wash with Carplan Ultimate when needed, van stays nice and shiney and being white it seems to glow after a wash. Carplan gets rid of black streaks too.

Colinite 476, best and easiest wax to apply..............ever !
+1. A "no brainer". And easy enough to do with 2 people - one putting it on and the second following on at the right speed so it's just right to polish off. We use the yellow pads to put it on and microfibre polishing cloth to take it off. See threads in detailing forum by Charlie ffi.

Does anyone know if this collinite 476 is safe on the vinyl transfers on carthago vehicles

As said look on the detailing section.

If you have a fibreglass body use anything recommended for boats.
