Hi all, I am at present phoning around local tyre companies to purchase new tyres for my 4 tonne motorhome. I have read on the site that some are more of a comfortable drive than others. I have been quoted on Continental tyres mainly from various fitting companies but are Hankook or Toyo tyres acceptable for 4 tonne motorhome. If so what do you experienced motorhomers think? I use my motorhome very frequently even in winter so it is not parked up for more than 2 weeks on average. I would like a bit more of a comfortable ride than the Continental tyres that are on now but seriously need replacing as they are too old now. Thank you in advance

Coach built
I have just fitted Bridgestone 235/65 R16 115. R660 ECO. (7m long coachbuilt up-plated to 4000kg.) Very good rating for fuel, wet and noise. Not yet tested on long trip, but initial impression is very good.

Since 2008 & many years tugging
We are 4.5t and run on Toyo Observe Van, vast improvement over CP tyres. Front wear quicker but rears are lasting longer and they are about £80 a corner cheaper than CP tyres.
