Another piece in the Express today which, whilst mostly tosh IMHO, may still just be of interest. At least it's on topic, but please don't shoot the messenger. ;)

It includes some fairly dodgy figures and assumptions...

Why a motorhome could be the key to a fulfilling retirement

I might have pontificated on here before now but I have developed a formula for a fulfilling retirement.

1. Adequate health, meaning you don't have to be Superman!
2. Adequate wealth, meaning you can have twice the fun on half the money!
3. The intelligence and attitude to exploit the above. We certainly have, and at 75 we will continue to do so!

In other words, the traditional Health, Wealth & Happiness !

The real truth is that if pensioners didn't eat much or cost so much in health issues or talk back when told to do something, we would all have at least one as a pet. They wouldn't need spaying and some spend most of their time asleep ..... :X3: :X3: :xrofl: :xrofl:

Dodgy figures. £410 per month? Assuming a stay on a campsite, that alone could cost you double over the space of a month. Even staying on CL's could swallow all of that £410, without the cost of fuel, LPG etc.
