MOT East Lincolnshire

Can anybody recommend an MOT station that would take a 7m motorhome in and around the Louth area please.

Would prefer a FIAT dealer which would make it easier should any remedial work be needed. Hopefully not as the van is only 6 years old.

I can tell you where NOT to go and that is North East Trucks in Immingham. Supposed to be a Fiat Professional but we had an awful experience with them. Shocking customer service, left the van in an awful state, charged for hours that they didn't do. Aggressive management.

Thanks. Have the van booked at CamperUK for a Hab service, but not until after the MOT has expired. They outsource the MOTS elsewhere they don't do them themselves.

I have used AS Motors Ltd Wilton Rd Humberston, DN36 4AW to MOT my last motorhome, I have also used Fiat Professional garage in Inmmingham but they don’t do the MOT themselves they take it to anther garage on the Stallingborough industrial estate.

Could be using Pk Automotives opposite. Another fantastic company to deal with. Paul (the owner) bends over backwards to help people. Extremely knowledgeable. That's where our last MOT was done.

I can wholly recommend Great Coates Motors just outside Grimsby. Thoroughly professional. They recently mot'd my van and changed the cam belt and water pump.

Louth MOT Centre. Had my 7.5m Adria A Class done there in April . Really easy to get to in the Industrial estate.
you can book on line and then just call them to tell them your a MH etc. that’s what I did.

I also recently had my MH serviced and new engine battery fitted at Bromley’s Vehicle Servicing and Repairs. Came by recommendation as they regularly work on Ducato vans and also MH’s very happy with their service and will use again. Also on the same Industrial Est in Louth.

Thanks for all the replies. Have decided on Louth MOT Centre as they are part of Volksworld and I've already used them before for my car including MOT which they do at the MOT Centre.

Good stuff! Apparently they won’t be able to service MH’s etc. As they don’t have the ramps for larger vehicles at their vollksworld workshop and they only do MOT’s and the MOT Centre and no servicing, that’s why I went to Bromley’s for the service. Best of luck with your MOT.
