We love our 2008 Apache but inside it's very, well, 2008. Has anyone given a similar vehicle a more modern feel (pics would be nice). I've requested a quote from Regal for the upholstery but was thinking more about scaling back the amount of fake wood finish for something brighter.

Seen a few vans where they have had this vinyl wrapping added like they do on kitchens. Even part covering of cupboards makes big difference. Can't point you to any examples but maybe do a bit of googling.

Yeah thanks Tonka. I seem to remember seeing that on here as well. I'd just be concerned it looked a bit clarty but I'm sure it can be done well.

For upholstery why not approach a suite manufacturers such as Academy Upholstery on Holderness Road, Hull.
Assuming you’re from the Barrow I’m thinking of.

Doesn't make much odds to us because we sit outside all day in the sun.At night when it's dark we don't notice..Could do with a makeover though..Gold tap and green cooker and sink give its era away,,early 2000s.BUSBY.

I had similar thoughts about refitting our 2011 Rapido - then thought s0d it I'll just imagine it's one of those gazillion dollar super yachts instead and saved a fortune and a ton of hassle and extra work

That was skill and patience, he has done it a few times before. Does anyone know how this tratment would stand up on a cupboard door over the gas hob, heat and steam?
If it's anything like my sons kitchen the doors over the hob and even the kettle will peel.

Vinyl Wrap would be the last option on my page.

The cupboard over our cooker is the metal roller shutter type housing the microwave so no issues there. I suppose the other option is to spray them, which might work well.

Quote back from upholsterer is £2k inc VAT including new high-density foam which I think is a good price.

I have done our kitchen with this method still going strong 3 years later and obviously getting daily normal family home use. I’m planning some wrapping on the van cupboards soon too. The cupboards, the worktop and the tiles have all been wrapped.
