Hi
Wondering if anyone can help with a weird issue with a DNX451RVS head unit: the reversing camera view works fine but for the life of me I cannot get it to display the guide lines. I see them in the Setup screen but nothing appears when the rear view comes up. Any suggestions?

Cheers
Mark

Not familiar with the unit but I'm sure it'll be an option in the menu to switch on and off

does this unit have inputs for more than one camera? Maybe one connection is dedicated as the rear view and is the only one the lines display on?

It only supports one camera but the video link suggested below gives me a good idea of what it should look for so will try that when I next can. Cheers.

I can view them rear with the camera but I can't get the view to have the grid lines overlaid on it.

To be precise, it only supports a single rear view camera.

I had the same unit it supports 4 camera inputs including the front recording camera. Adding the guidelines is below.

After further investigation it appears that the guidelines are only rendered if you configure the unit for a "CMOS 3" camera - according to the manual. Mine is configured for "other" and has a Dometic CAM45 unit installed. Changing the setting to "CMOS 3" results in a "cannot communicate with camera" error. I'm not sure why an overlay would require a specific type of camera though and note that when setting up the guidelines it DOES display the video and the guidelines. Weird.
