MHF photos changed behavior?

When we write a travel thread we also copy and paste it into a Wordpress blog. it’s useful for people who won’t visit MHF specifically my mum but a handful of others too.

Recently the photos stopped transferring over. Eg this post from this MHF entry. It only happened in the past few days.

Jim has something changed? It used to be really easy now it’s a pain :-(

Sorry, not quite with you. What's the issue? When you copy something from Fun, you can't paste it in WordPress, or something from WordPress won't paste into Fun?

There is nothing on the forum that has been updated recently that would have anything to do with the issue you described. I can't say the same for WordPress. I run a few WordPress sites, and they've been updating a lot recently.

I'm copying from the MHF Forum editor and pasting into the Wordpress Jetpack app on an iPad.

The text goes across fine but the images don't. I guess it's Wordpress making the image embeds from the pasted URL that's gone wrong :-(

Except... some of those blog posts worked originally and then stopped working. We didn't edit them
