Looking at a new van which has a Telco automatic satellite receiver ??? New used a TV in any van before so this is all new to me and I’m easily confused. Just looked at those little white jobbies in the MH shop and was shocked at how much they cost… so thinking if we bought said van then i guess we’d have to use it at some point:unsure:

Mr MH sales person said it will pick up French TV…. But if we pay extra we can even get tortured by Swiss TV, he wasn’t a good sales guy:LOL: I’m just wondering if what we would need to do to get some decent UK channels on it ???

Plan B could be to just install some in van Wi-Fi system so we could just connect to Netflix etc as the TV is apparently Smart.

Gears, brakes and greasy stuff i can do but TV’s and screen are not my thing although i suspect that once the girls see a screen it will be expected to be used, oh dear what am i creating here:unsure:

In any case got to decide if we go for the van this WE but this TV malarkey has me a bit confused to say the least.

Anyone ?

Satellite will allow you to pick up UK Freesat with a cheap receiver. TV can be anything that will fit and then made smart with an Amazon Firestick. No need to spend much money and certainly not a deal breaker on a motorhome

So means I’d need a UK receiver ?

As cheap as £9.99 on eBay.

Oooh nice !

You mean i can generously provide luxury TV services for the price of a few M&S sandwiches 😉
