Can anyone tell me if you have to notify your MH insurance company that you have just been diagnosed with Sleep Apnoea (non syndrome).

Apparently you don’t have to notify DVLA unless it’s Sleep Apnoea SYNDROME. Not sure about the insurance companies.
If so, has anyone had their Premium upped?
thanks.

I have obstructive Sleep Apnoea, Let all insurance know as not worth the hassle if I need to claim. No premiums have been upped.

Safest to let them know, but usual insurance company question is “do you have any medical conditions that are reportable to the DVLA”

HI guys, just ready to buy first MH. Can anyone recommend a specific "go to" insurance company or should i just deal with my own car insurer. Any help appreciated please. Thanks

Hi definitely not just your car insurance, try AIB and do a search on here for MH insurance
Start a thread recommended insurance etc

Hi, thanks. No, i understand its not just car insurance, it was really wondering if it was worth checking "with" my car insurer if they did it. AIB sounds like and option, i'll give them a call. Many thanks

I have just taken out insurance with AIB. Very happy with price. BTW make sure you mention the Funsters for your discount!

Also worth mentioning about your NCB on your car as a lot will "mirror" the bonus.
AIB usually have a stand alone insurance that does not accure a NCB 👍
