Hi, I have found a sprinter with 195000 miles on the clock full service history 2014, immaculate bodywork priced at £7999. Any thoughts would be appreciated as i am looking to convert it as my first camper.

That's not high mileage for a 2014 Sprinter. That's just about medium.

Thanks, I'm just tired of looking at battered vans just want something decent. It has been serviced by Mercedes from new which is good?

When I was looking (before the prices went stratospheric due to a massive lack of delivery vans), I found there was a gulf at around £8000 until £12000, where nothing existed, particularly for buyers not VAT registered. To get anything "low" mileage (i.e. < 100,000 miles) or less than 7 years, you had to pay the VAT hump to £12,000 and the base vehicle didn't get much better.

In the end, I bought a 100,000 mile, 7 year old ex Camarthen Police riot van. For this, I got a low price (£7000 inc VAT), anti-corrosion internal spray treatment on all panels, exceptional service history and the most powerful engine in the range. Against it are lots of holes and rivetnuts for all the removed armouring, and they didn't even leave the drop down front shield, siren or flashing lights. They did leave a blood splatter that is now hidden under insulation. I got £100 for the steel cage.
