We don't have a fixed bed, and have to make up the bed from the seat cushions, we have always used a mattress topper, however after the cat peed on them (don't ask, and we didn't kill the cat although I wanted to) we now need to replace them. We had memory a foam topper and it was great but it does take up a lot of room, I have seen much thinner quilted toppers on line. Has anyone used them? and are they OK? they would be easier to store during the day

We have one which is excellent from Jonic, in Morecambe. Very good service, made to measure, although we fairly local, so could take our mattress in for them to measure.

We just have it in a duvet cover for easy cleaning back home, and use it just to cover the gaps and unevenness of the cushions that make up the bed

We have two Duvalay toppers 6'2"x 3'1" custom made that fit perfectly and are individualy rolled, secured with suit case belts and stored during the day (end lounge motorhome). We found traditional toppers could not be rolled.

I’ve got a Jonic topper, which is made from a springy mesh. Bought it and never used it, single bed size if wanted. Was expensive item.

Our PVC has a bed you make up too -- king-size (or almost).

We use a feather topper that folds up smaller than a memory foam one. Instead of using a sheet, we put the topper in a white duvet cover.

I think the topper came from Lidl or Aldi.

Throw on the topper, throw on the duvet and the bed's made.

And for our winter escapades we use a wool-filled duvet from Devon Duvets. Not the cheapest, but incredibly warm (you don't often see a cold sheep), breathable, moulds to the body, and made in Devon from British wool.

Not sure if tuck-me-under do anything thick enough or your needs but we found them to be the best value when shopping around for made to measure sheets and mattress protectors. Good luck

We bought a cheap topper from pound stretcher as a try and see when we had the Duetto. It was a bit of a challenge storing it. Now we have the Rienza storage isn’t a problem. It rolls up and fits in a draw string bag.
Considering it was so cheap with the a sleeping bag on top and a duvet to suit the weather we find it very comfortable all year round.

That's what we do also..but I bought a roll of Velcro to secure the rolled up topper in 2 places..takes a minute or so to make up the bed..and better still...it's a blue job!!

And I have seen the occasional dead lamb on the moors that was born in a cold snap. But I am torn between sadness for the poor infant and rejoicing at the prospect of a decent lamb biryani. Guess I am not a vegetarian at heart.

Still dropping clangers and making it up as I go along
Wave a topper from John Lewis on our bed at home but we don't have a fixed bed so it's far too big to take away, we need a thin one that can be rolled up. The one we had before was great but it was memory foam and took up a lot of space to store

I can get the topper double quilt and 2 pillows and sheets just by rolling to drop straight into the under bench storage in my PVC 10.5 tog quilt so its not small but always open to new ideas to help save room
