The drop down front bed on mine has 8" memory foam (non std) comfy but unused by me .
The rear fixed bed has a 10"memory foam mattress ,and I bought a gel-infused topper (double) from Dunhelm . Not cheap.£100 or there abouts from memory :)
Trimmed the tapered end to shape with electric carving knife .
Very comfy

We can highly recommend J & A Foam, we have used them twice and they are very competitive. Martin will give you advice on what options and they have a quick turnaround.

J and a foam are near Blackburn but they have a website and Facebook page so you can message them for advice in the first instance.

We're waiting for delivery of Duvalays. When they arrive we'll road test them and post the results on here. See my earlier thread "Bed making" for what other people thought of them. Mostly positive so we decided to take the plunge.
