Our Knaus motor home is built on MAN tge 180hp auto seems to be very gentle on ad blue useage. Approx 800 miles per litre of ad blue.
I have read comments on much higher rates with other base vehicles. Could other MAN or VW Crafter owners share there findings. I’m just wondering if this is normal for the vehicle. Currently it has covered 4500 miles and shows 18500 range to go

Adblue is to counteract NOx emissions. Which is mostly made when the engine is running hot and hard... so mostly from sustained motorway cruising. If you pootle along back roads at 50mph, you'll use a lot less adblue than someone that's at 70mph all the time.

Our TGE may not be a good example as it spent just over 12 months doing negligible mileage, that was until last November. From then it's not done a great deal until the past three months. However we are now in Europe for four weeks and will probably do in excess of 2500miles.
The total on the clock today is 4196miles and the adblue range is 8500miles.
Prompt me in October and I will repeat the figures then when health permitting we will have had yet another four weeks over here and have covered a similar mileage.
