Unfortunately when we took our 12 year old GSD/Border Collie to him although we warned him that she had arthritis he treated her badly. Because she was a large dog he didn’t have one sufficiently large tablet to treat her, he had to give her two.

She was not averse to tablets but he grabbed her muzzle and pushed the first tablet way down her throat. When he tried to administer the second tablet she pulled away and ended up in the corner of the surgery yelping because of the pain in her hips as she was forced to squat down.

The absolute worst experience we ever had with a vet. He just wouldn’t listen when we told him she would take the tablet off his palm. And, yes I could speak sufficient French as we lived there for 16 years.

We have used the Bourg Achard vet, same group as Mailleraye but better times.

Do your own research we paid € 7.80 for the worming tablet and passport stamp .
Some French vets aren’t interested in the worming racket.

Our experience was three years ago so things may have changed. However, I would not return because of that exp.

Used them last Sept. Did worming without problem .I wrap it in Parma Ham. Was a female vet. Wouldn’t issue Pet passport due to new edict but handled worming paperwork ok.
