Morrisons fuel section has been sold as a seperate entity and is now a franchise. The last time I attempted to use theirs an irrate moron was shouting "only for cars" across the forecourt and wouldn't activate the pump and this even though Safefill still promote their partnership with them. As well as MyLPG this might assist....

The number is now 01903 253317. Tried it and got through.

The Broadfield Crawley petrol station no longer sells LPG.

There is a new supplier in West Sussex, they are OK with Safefill, not used them yet. From mylpg.eu.

Not strictly West Sussex but BP Scholing is just off the M27 near Southampton.

I have used Landcruise Motorhome hire near Oving. Friendly people who fill it for you. Highly recommended.

We would only use around 15 L in 8 weeks so £1.65 against the average price of 99p I can live with.
Over an eight week period I've refilled 3 times and that was half on hookup and half off-grid. With such little consumption, a refillable system must be barely cost-effective.

I agree but it is convenient, in our first few months we used bottles which was awful - loads of place to fill up in the EU fortunately.

We’re on a one bottle lpg diesel-based heating system. I’ve a calor in there but wondering whether we should get a refillable, whether Gaslow hole in the van option or something like a Safefill. We’re planning on a lot of continental travel. The thing putting me off the latter is the risk we’d be barred from refilling on service stations.

Personally we find the Gasliw system foots the bill - haven’t tried other refillable systems though. We have an external filling cap on the skirt. Takes the issue of compatibility of bottles when in the EU which for us was worth the cost.
