Lost third gear

I lost third gear yesterday, crunching and grinding when I try it.
What to do ?!
Full timer , not happy...

Bessacarr E435. FIAT ducato.
2.8 JTD. about 54k miles on the clock. Engine has been fine since I bought it September 2017.

So have you lost 3rd entirely or does it crunch when you engage it. I gather your engine is still fine?

Does it do the same changing down as well as up?
Have you tried selecting neutral allowing the clutch fully up known as double-declutch. If this works then it is likely to be synchromesh, which you can live without. Having said that there will likely be debris in the box.
Sadly whatever it is it is likely to be a box out to repair.

Could be debris. I need to have it seen to. What am I looking at in money terms ?
Guessing half day of work and may be a new box ?
I haven't tried double declutch , but just need it see to.
