I read a post recently, I thought it was only posted in the last couple of weeks, but things go at such a rate of knots on here it could have been longer. I thought I had marked it for future reference but I'm blowed if I can find it now.

Someone put a link to a map of French waterways, I have found one recent waterway map, but it shows navigable waterways and isn't the one I remembered which was covered in blue lines tracing rivers and canals.

Can anyone help, I thought I would use it to start planning a route for our trip in 6 weeks time

'twas me I think. Give me a moment...

DBK that's the one, thanks. I should have known useful info like that would have come from you and looked at your postings rather than trying to find a thread.

Have have delivered boats right down through, Calais to Port San Louis and beyond .
Very tranquil for the most part .
Busy on the Saone and the Rhone
A good guide book giving details of all locks ,water etc

I have an earlier edition which came with a fold out map of the entire network .
Including the Brittany canals /rivers
Traveling through I did note that at many stops campers were parked nearby.
Maybe of interest to you.
