Have owned my moho for 2.5 years now
Well I am back from my 9 day trip in my MoHo. This is the longest trip i have done in it since i got it last June. So the itinery is as follows

2 nights at Marwell Resort/activity centre. This was nice site with activities to do if you wanted. Pitch was level and well maintained. Nice that it had a bar. It is within walking distance of Marwell Zoo as well.

4 nights at Longthorns Farm near Wool. Another nice site on a working farm. It is about half a mile from monkey world. About 1.5 miles from the tank Museum at Bovington camp. Also about 2 miles from nearest town and railway station at wool. Which is walkable just not for me I used a taxie company called Garrison cars very friendly and a good service.

Finally 2 nights at Ferry meadows camc site. This was a nice site a bit more regimented than i like but all the facilities were good and was in walking distance to Overton station on the Nene Valley railway.

So all in all i did rather well with my site choices.

Places I visited

Marwell zoo : Nice zoo looking a bit tired but the snow leopards there are brilliant. I would recommend a visit.

Bovington Tank Museum: Loved this place very interesting. I need to visit when the tanks are running. I would highly recommend this place for a visit

Monkey World: What a wonderful place. great place to wonder round and look at the primates they are ace

Radipole lake NR Weymouth: Very good place for birds i think it would be a good place for dragonflies as well in the summer. well, worth the effort to go.

Lodmoor RSPB reserve: Another good place for a walk and for birdwatching saw a pair of spoonbills and a sabine's gull . Worth if if you like birdwatching

Poole: Poole was ok. The quay area is lovely and would be bustling in summer when the boat trips are running and the weather is warmer. well worth a visit in summer i shall return

Thanks for this, some good ideas for days out and for the useful site feedback.

Not been to Bovington tank museum, but if you are ever in the Barnstaple area I can thoroughly recommend the Cobbaton Combat Collection at a little place called Umberleigh. Fantastic collection of vehicles and related military kit.
