Morning everyone.

New to this so finding the way as it comes.

Currently in Edinburgh for the fringe festival.

We want to head up to Loch Ness tomorrow... can anyone recommend a campsite close to the water; or is "wild camping" (motorhome) accepted?around/ or certain area's??

Any info much appreciated. (y)

There is loads of wild camping in Scotland.
There are many laybys for overnight stays on the Loch - choose a quiet one.
Water and services at Dumnadrochit car park for a voluntary contribution.

Loch Ness Shores CCC site. Right on side of Loch.👍👍
Lovely drive along east side of Loch.... much nicer than touristy main road on other side.

Remember, not many people who wild camp on the shores of Loch Ness get to tell the tale. I have no idea why😏

What about Loch Kishorn?

My dad worked there in the 70's... early 80's building oil rigs.
