We are on the way home, just NW of Annecy, and thinking might do a little of the Mosel ............

Can someone point me in the direction of the recent Mosel thread please? Coz I can’t find it!

Looking for advice on Aires etc

We found nearly every town on the river had an Aire or campsite with attached Aire. That was in the summer not sure which ones operate this time of year as lot were on grass.

Thanks team I’ve had a quick butchers at the thread but goodness me it’s 61 pages long!

Can anyone help me cut to the chase and just name Stellplatz that you would be happy to recommend?

We were at the stellplatz at Reil last weekend, although I'm not sure if it closes this week. That said, I didn't see any barriers, so even if it's closed, you could maybe park there. It's a lovely location.

Enkirch .. huge grassy site on the river bank, foot ferry to other side of Mossell to catch the train .. close to shops.. can't miss it.. excellent cycling on both sides of the river..

Metz is nice to look around aire and municipal campsite alongside river not great but they do a turn and walking distance to cathedrals i think it is nice place to walk around for a bit of history

if you want to visit Koblenz, there is an aire at the entrance to the campsite,
just across the river from the town.., foot ferry to town from site .. Koblenz is well worth visiting.. cable car to other side of Rhine with fabulous views
