Hi does anybody have a set of lillypad windblocker awning nets
I’ve just bought a set and was told they would stretch easy but they don’t seem to when I’ve looked at them( can’t fit them yet)
Do they when fitted
Thanks

It’s the height of the awning at the motorhome side front is 261 so ok
Rear is 272 so would be a 10cm gap at the bottom
I was told the nets were stretchy and would fit/stretch no problem
I haven’t got the motorhome to try them but didn’t look like any stretch and you have confirmed that
Shame as seem a great idea and very light

There are elastic bands at the bottom to peg it down. Maybe that’s what they meant?

They said the net would stretch
Would of thought apart from looking silly the wind would just go underneath 🤷🏻‍♂️

Because we use ours between 2 different vans we added a piece of shower curtain to the top and

bottom, not only does it help keep the flies out, we put a rod through the material, it weighs it down and you only have to put a peg in either side. (y)

We had ours on our 1st van....all good we love them. Just changed vans and this one is higher than the previous. We tried the windblockers; front face is fine as we can lower the awning to suit. The side pieces are obviously a bit short & there's a gap at the bottom nearest the van. We can still peg it down ok as there's stretchy bungys to peg it out. The gap doesn't bother us, it still protects us from the wind. You either have to accept it as it is or maybe return them as they don't meet your requirements.....or alter to suit like Irnbru's

Hello. Just thought I would provide an update on Lillypad customer service.
We purchased our set of wind blockers in 2018 and used them extensively over the past 5 years.
We changed Motorhome in December 2023 and the awning of new motor is longer so we contacted Rick to see if he could add and extension to the front section. He said it was possible, gave us several options and we agreed to have the top tape removed and a 150cm section added with new top tape.
He had also just received new stock in the original grey charcoal colour which is identical match.
It took just 2 weeks to turn the job around and when the front section was returned, Rick had also included a new set of bungees for the front.
We are really pleased with how Rick helped us out and looking forward to getting back out there. All done for £45 inclusive. Very pleased.
