Like Monschou ?

Folks
After some idea's for a last stop on the way back to ferry at Amsterdam
Last year someone recommended Monschou on the German border which was very nice and would happily stop there again
After somewhere similar for this year either in Germany or into Holland to have a nose around for a day or so.
Prefer not to have a long drive back to ferry on last day

Agree both nice but looking for somewhere that's a two or three hours back to ferry as a last stop on way home

As we have to be at the hook of Holland for the ferry around 12-12.30, we stayed at delft, it’s just a half hour from the port, so no rushing to get up and do 3 hours driving (god forbid the van gets a puncture or a motorway closure) always had the mindset to be near to the port should the crap hit the fan.
