Afternoon All, Has anyone any knowledge or experience of the above springs please?
I’m considering changing/upgrading the front suspension on our 2007 Hymer B654 cos the front end is low and bottoms out. A fellow Motorhomer on a site suggested them. Thanks.

When you say the bottom out,is that in or on bumps or potholes, or at the kerbside stationery?

Over potholes and bumps. It was a real pain in Italy last year (not the best roads in Europe). I’m sure it’s hitting the stops cos we get a right jolt. The van normally sits front down anyway which I’ve heard is ‘normal’ for this A class. I’m just trying to get it to sit level.

The challenge sounds to be the shock absorbers, and or the bumpstops, they deteriorate badly under the shock absorber gaiters.
My advice would be to overall the from suspension, including the top bearings, bump stops , shock absorbers, and springs. The ride height although in part is governed by the springs, it is also governed by the vehicles original design. ( Shock absorber total shaft length).
Over the years I have changed many front suspension units and further suggest replacing the front hub bearings whilst striped down.

THanks Clipgate, yes I think you’re right. I’ll make some enquiries about having the front assessed before jumping into buying new springs. If anyone could recommend a good mechanic/garage in the Chester/North Wales region that would be useful. Thanks. 👍
