I’m a newbie
Hi,

I have fitted two leisure batteries in my van conversion and because of the config of the furniture in the van, one battery is under the passengers seat and one at the back of the van so there are battery cables between them of up to 3m. I do not have any convenient trunking and was wondering what are the preferred methods of anchoring cables down. I do not want to put them, under the floor. I have a convenient channel to go around the side door step, but have approx 2m I need to fasten securely in some way. Was thinking about some flexible conduit or some form of clips like those used for the gas pipes. Any suggestions appreciated.

Not a good idea to have 2 linked leisure batteries far apart.
They should be linked together in close proximity.

cant see why it would be a problem provided the cables are sufficiently sized

Flexible conduit is a good idea. Also the positive link wire between two widely separated batteries needs two fuses - one at each end.
