I’m new
Hello

We recently bought a converted 2017 sprinter and are having issues with the leisure battery.

The solar panel controller is an eco worthy and also has a wireless remote to switch on the vans lights and 12V power. Battery is showing as full charged on control unit and also when you plug your phone into the USB on the control unit that does work. Unfortunately the remote control won’t switch any lights or 12V for the pumps and 12V sockets on. Remote seems to have working battery though as a red light shows each time we press it to try and use it. Fuse from a quick look seems fine too.
Has anyone else had this problem, or got any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated because we’re very new to this.

The pics are too small to see.

My van has a control panel with master on/off switches for water and lights.

Do you have a master switch somewhere? Most vans do, but with a home done conversion it will be anything but standard.

thanks for your help can’t seem to find a master switch. Ill attach another picture and see if it’s bigger. This is all I can seem to find. Small consumer unit, control panel and remote that apparently switches the 12v on

Somewhere you will have a receiver for that remote and I don’t think it is anything that is in your pic.

That's the solar power control and the 220 electric hook up trip's. You need to find the 12v fuse board with multiple fuses.

That remote looks like one for an LED dimmer, the power to the lights/dimmer would need to be switched on for it to work.

In the picture there's a thick red wire coming out of the battery box, with a Midi Fuse, just below the mains 240V switching unit. That wire will go to a fusebox, with several fuses, and several wires going to different electrical items in the van. Follow that wire if you can, to find it - it may be hidden away in a locker or cupboard or under a seat.
